Keith Tipton, MBA, developed a rich background in computer-aided detection, diagnostic and therapy-related medical imaging devices with a career spanning 30 years of experience in research and development as well as business management. Prior to joining QI, Keith spent 14 years with Philips Healthcare, most recently as a founding member of Philips Women’s Healthcare where he served on the management team leading research and development. In this capacity, he grew the R&D function from scratch to more than 100 engineering professionals engaged in a diverse range of product development, clinical research and proof-of-concept activities for the global business. From this experience, Keith developed a keen interest in serving the needs of breast cancer care providers and their patients. Prior to Women’s Healthcare, Keith was the general manager of Philips’ Radiation Therapy Planning division and, earlier in his career, product development manager for many successful medical devices at Sopha Medical Systems and Analogic Corp. His successful track record also includes work in the healthcare delivery sector, which Keith credits for shaping a lasting perspective that has been instrumental in driving product innovations that solve important clinical problems. Keith holds a bachelor of science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
