Quantitative Image Analysis

QuantX™ Advanced includes a robust set of features designed to assist radiologists in the assessment and characterization of breast abnormalities using MR image data. QuantX™ Advanced includes two proprietary, AI-based features: QI Score™ and Similar Case Compare™.

QI Score™

QuantX™ Advanced automatically registers images and segments and analyzes user-selected regions of interest (ROI). QuantX™ Advanced extracts image data from the ROI to provide volumetric analysis and computer analytics based on morphological and enhancement characteristics.

These imaging (or radiomic) features are synthesized by an artificial intelligence algorithm into a single value, the QI Score™, a clinical metric that is correlated to the likelihood of malignancy.

In multi-focal cancer cases, QuantX™ Advanced can combine multiple lesions and deliver an aggregate QI Score™ that may be used to evaluate overall tumor burden.

Similar Case Compare™

The QI Score™ is analyzed relative to a database of reference abnormalities with known ground truth. For the QI Score™ and component radiomic features, QuantX™ Advanced provides comparative analysis to lesions with known outcomes using an image atlas and histogram display format.

The adjacent image shows the proprietary Similar Case Compare™ feature. Up to 45 cases from the reference library can be displayed for each lesion that is analyzed.

[a] QI Score™ is a metric related to likelihood of malignancy. A comprehensive set of lesion descriptors for volumetrics, morphology, and kinetics is synthesized by an artificial intelligence algorithm into a QI Score™ for each lesion.

QuantX™ is indicated for evaluation of patients presenting for high-risk screening, diagnostic imaging workup, or evaluation of extent of known disease. In cases where multiple abnormalities are present, QuantX™ can be used to assess each abnormality independently.

QuantX™ may also be used as an image viewer of multi-modality digital images, including ultrasound and mammography. The software also includes tools that allow users to measure and document images, and output in a structured report. QuantX™ is not intended for primary interpretation of digital mammography images.
